Dear BFNC Member
Belgrave Football Netball Club, Belgrave Cricket Club and Belgrave Junior Football Club are at critical crossroads as our facilities struggle
with overcrowding and outdated infrastructure. Built in 1950, the Belgrave Recreation Reserve Pavilion is no longer fit for purpose,
limiting community activities and failing to meet the needs of our growing population, particularly with the exciting increase in women’s sports participation.
To address these urgent challenges, local Federal Member of Parliament Aaron Violi MP has launched a petition calling on the government and council to fund the much-needed upgrades.
These improvements are not just about sports; they will transform the pavilion into a modern hub for community connection, recreation, and safety, serving as an essential refuge during emergencies.
With strong backing from residents, families, and community organizations, this initiative seeks to unite our voices to advocate for Belgrave’s future.
