Welcome to Old Haileyburians' Amateur Football Club
Vision – OHAFC aspires to be the football club that experiences success both on and off the field
Mission – OHAFC aims to create a positive environment that is attractive to both players and supporters who enjoy sharing in success
Old Haileyburians' Amateur Football Club is one of the top Amateur Football Clubs competing in the well respected VAFA. The team consists mainly of former Haileybury students and a good sprinkling of others (some with AFL experience) keen on being part of an enthusiastic club playing quality A grade standard of football. In 2014 the Senior Coach is Stewart Loewe, who hardly needs any introduction after over 300 AFL games with St Kilda..
Old Haileyburians won the 2006 A grade premiership - its first A Grade flag after a steady improvement over the years since inception (1961). 2011 was the club's 50th year.
The Bloods field four teams: 1sts (Premier B in 2014), Reserves, Thirds and Under 19's. We also take a keen interest in the progress of all the school teams from Year 7 through to Year 12.
All four teams will play their home games on Princes Park in 2014 - Firsts and reserves on one week and Under 19's and Thirds on alternate weeks.
The Under 19's are a very important part of our club being the breeding ground of our future success. The Under 19's provide the link and natural progression for school footballers and their mates.
The club is fully supportive and also provides a home base for those talented footballers who want to try their luck in the top echelon of football.
New players are welcome - just come down to training any Tuesday or Thursday during the season or contact the President or the Secretary.
