The Alexandra Football Netball Club comprises a strong community, founded on the principles of integrity and respect, and intention of providing a safe environment for young men and women to partake in healthy, recreational activities.
Formed 1884, the club continues to be a progressive and integral component of the community with a firm vision for its role in the future whilst acknowledging and respecting its outstanding history.
The club has over 300 active participants and provides a great setting not only for participating in sport but as a social hub for people to meet and mix and support each other, in a positive environment with a common goal.
We are justifiably proud of our new clubrooms and netball facility which represent many years of hard work by the volunteers within our club. The club has a sound financial base and is administered by a range of professional individuals with experience in a variety of fields.
HOW CAN YOU BECOME INVOLVED?
There are numerous ways that you can support our club. Whether you are the parent or relative of a player, a member of the local community or a local business we would value and appreciate any assistance you can provide.
Assist our volunteers’ providing meals and refreshments for players and the local community on Thursday nights after training.
- Play a role in any of the jobs undertaken on game days. For example goal umpiring, time keeping or canteen
- Help in the running and maintenance of our new facilities.
- Become involved in social activities within the club, the calendar of events is out!
- Bring any area of expertise that you think may benefit our organisation.
