250th Milestone for Squidge!
Adam or Squidge as he is widely known as, played his 250th senior game for the Nathalia Football Club. The Purples defeated Mulwala in the 2nd Semi-Final at Tocumwal, 2007 advancing through to the grand final. A grand day for the Purples and a mighty day for Squidge to celebrate his 250 milestone match.
Squidge has been a magnificent player for the club over many years, starting his senior career in 1992, his only season away was in 1998 at Kyabram in the GVFL, with close mate David Liddell. He was the Captain of the Purples breakthrough premiership in 2005, and is highly respected in the MFL for his ability and courage. Originally playing as a forward and midfielder, he has moved to defence in recent seasons with outstanding success. For a number of seasons now, Adam has also been in charge of recruiting, as well as organising numerous club functions and fundraisers.
A lot of the Purples’ recent success can be attributed to Adam through both his on field and off field contributions. Well Done Squidge!
