The Tigers took on the Bond University Sharks at Pottsville oval and christened the new goal posts with a solid win. The Bye in the draw enabled the club to pull together and use a number of key contacts to increase the size of the goal posts to a standard more befitting the tiger’s stature in the league. Well done to Tim Edwards, Shane (shags) Josh , Sammy and all who helped. The oval looks the real deal.
This week was Ladies day and it was a pleasure to see our female supporters well catered for at the game. The club is fortunate to have a number of women who put their hands up every week to assist the Tigers Football Club. Judy, Pat ,Wendy and Lucy in particular- the team really appreciates the effort you go to to ensure everything is right for game day. To the WAGS our many thanks for allowing us to indulge in passion called Australian Rules Football.
