Umpire Fees & Payments
Just as clarification on Umpires Fees and Payments please note the following;
Umpires Fees are to be paid by the Club listed first on the program ie the“Home Club”, not the Club hosting the match.
The Club named first will pay the Umpires fees for the three matches they are involved in on any given Sunday.
This means that Club will be responsible for paying for the Open, Under 16 & Under 13 games they are involved in, a total of for the three games $250.
Example: –
Round 1: the Clubs that will need to make Umpire payments are – Goolwa/Pt Elliot, Encounter Bay, Mt Compass and Victor Harbor.
This payment needs to be made to the Umpires panel – the details are below.
Clubs will need to provide at least one boundary umpire and one goal umpire for every game. If you wish to recompense these officials, that is up to you.
These Umpire Panel fees need to be paid on a weekly basis no later than Wednesday following the game.
The Umpires Panel can produce an invoice for payments on a regular basis this could be a fortnightly or on a Monthly summary of payments made to your club, in a format that should be acceptable to Club auditors.
Your club should have a chat with the Umpires Secretary – David Curran in regard to how you might like this done.
