Official Match Report

Fixture abandoned. Physical violence exhibited by an away team player and a home team player towards each other. Additionally, this led to an all-in brawl. Culminating in the match stopping. Followed by an attempt to stop the physical fighting by both sides. Subsequent to this an act of physical violence was conducted by an away team player upon a home team player, without expectation, at which point as the appointed match official it was clear that the safety of the remaining players and myself was at risk. As a result of the additional act of physical violence, I instructed all players that I would no longer participate in this fixture and that the match was being stooped at the direction of the match official due to the violence exhibited on the pitch and the threat it posed to the safety of the players and match officials involved in the match. Misconduct / Incident reports being filed.
