A very close game with Collingwood scoring first through Alex Collis, Sean Simmler then hit the post for Collingwood before Malvern scored a great goal just before half time. In the second half Malvern continued to attack and scored to go 2-1 up, Alex Collis then scored again for Collingwood to set up an exiting end to the game when Malvern scored from a corner with just a minute remaining to win 3-2.
