Official Match Report

Altercation between Clarence parent and Glenorchy AR2 when Clarence parent entered the field pushing through the spectator hi-vis barrier. The Clarence parent was not happy with the young Ref and was telling the Ref what he should do and how he should referee the game. I don't think the Ref heard the Clarence parent and due to this he started telling the AR2 that he should tell the Ref what to do and how to referee the game. When the AR2 told the parent to just leave the ref alone as he is young and is learning the game just like the players and that he should shut his mouth. The Clarence parent then entered the ground by pushing the barrier with his body. He then proceeded to push the Glenorchy AR2 in which the AR2 pushed back and they fell over the barrier. The parent on top of the AR2. The AR2 was changed to another Glenorchy AR2. The game was never stopped and both the Referee and the AR1 didn't see the incident. The Clarence bench thought that the Glenorchy AR2 jumped the barrier to make contact with the Clarence parent and were told that this didn't happen and that he actually come onto the playing area.
