YCW continued to play all over Mitiamo with Joe McKern and Kyle Morcombe far too quick for their Mitiamo opponents. Kicking for goal was poor on both sides, with a combined total of 10.19 between the two sides.

Mitiamo came out after half time with a lot more endeavour, and kicked 10 goals to YCW's 5, but just failed to get up. Glenn Hay, Kyle Patten and Jim Ginnivan really started to attack the ball and their tackling was outstanding. Ben Green was outstanding for YCW around the ground.
