Mitiamo VS BL/Serpentine
Serpentine were far too strong and fast for Mitiamo for most of the day. Mitiamo tried to bottle it up by pushing numbers back. Jimmy Orr was dominant in the ruck while James Rippingdale was dangerous up forward, and Sargeant was strong in the packs.
For Mitiamo there was none better than coach Dennis Grinton who showed all the rest of both teams how to use the ball. Other good players for Mitiamo were Scott Lawry, Glenn Hay and Mick Galvin.
