This "Most Tenacious" award is named in the memory of Jan Wallace who died tragically after a long battle with cancer.
It is a fitting tribute to a lady who battled through her illness for 5 years after being told by medical staff she would only have 2 years to live.
The club struck this award up in 1978 and is voted on by the ladies commitee
