1885 - Bonnie Doon's first game was held at Mansfield.
1885 - On the 29th August, Bonnie Doon played Alexandra.
1891- Team colours were blue jersey & red stockings they competed for the Mansfield Cup against Mt Battery & Tomie Clubs
1898 - Bonnie Doon & Maindample clubs amalgamated & they were called The Combined Rovers
1901 - Mansfield District Football Association formed the Mansfield, Bonnie Doon, Jamieson & the trappers. Bonnie Doon won the premiership trophy & were premiers
1905 - Bonnie Doon played a Mansfield game, the ladies were in strong force, hooligans went onto the ground & it wasn't until Constable Martin gently stroked several of them with a lump of tree that they left on the ground.
1905 - Mansfield met and defeated Bonnie Doon at Mansfield by 14 points, thus gaining the Mansfield Football Association premiership. Close to 2000 people were in attendance.
1906 - Bonnie Doon won the Grand Final
1925 - Bonnie Doon join and form the Mansfield / Swanpool District Football Association along with four other teams - Delatite, Maindample, Mansfield & Swanpool.
1927 - Mansfield defeat Bonnie Doon in the Mansfield / Swanpool FA Grand Final. Bonnie Doon as minor premiers had the right to play Mansfield in a "challenge" grand final, but lost the "challenge" grand final too.
1928 - Bonnie Doon: 7.10 - 52 defeated Mansfield: 6.11 - 47 in the Mansfield / Swanpool FA Grand Final. Bonnie Doon were undefeated premiers too!
1930 - Mount Battery: 9.16 - 70 d Bonnie Doon: 8.11 - 59 in the Mansfield Line Football Association.
1934 - Mansfield & Alexandra District Football Association (M&ADFA) - Bonnie Doon, Marysville, Thornton, Yarck, Alexandra, Mansfield, Delatite & Mt Battery.
1934 - Marysville defeat Bonnie Doon in the (M&ADFA) grand final, after Bonnie Doon protest against Thornton for using a player who was appraently not cleared by Yea FC. Thornton win their appeal and a second grand final between Thornton & Marysville is ordered, with Marysville eventually winning the second grand final.
1936 - Bonnie Doon elected to not play in the M&ADFL due to the long travel to some of the away games.
1937 - Bonnie Doon joins Euroa District Football Association - Euroa, Miepoll, Strathbogie & Longwood (who withdrew as unable to field a team)
1938 - 1940: Rejoined the Mansfield & Alexandra District Football Association (M&ADFA) and played there in 1939 and 1940, when the season was cancelled in late June, 1940, due to World War Two player enlistments.
1941 - 1944: the Mansfield & Alexandra District Football Association (M&ADFA) was in recess due to World War Two, but the club did play the occasional friendly match.
1945 - After the war had ended Bonnie Doon played in the Reserves competition against Mansfield Swanpool & Tatong in the Yea Alexandra Association.
1946 - 1948: The Upper Goulburn Football League (UGFL) was formed - Mansfield, Delatite, Bonnie Doon, Yea, Alexandra, Merton, Thornton, Acheron Valley & Marysville in 1946. Ron Luelf (Bonnie Doon) won the 1946 UGFL best and fairest award, the Bryant Trophy.
1949 - 1950: Bonnie Doon joined the Maroondah Highway Football League in 1949. Mansfield defeated Bonnie Doon in the 1949 MGFL grand final.
1951 - Bonnie Doon play in the Hume Highway FL against - Goulburn United, St. Mary's, Strathbogie, Tallarook and Yarck in 1951 and 1952.
1953 - Waranga-North East League (2nds) teams - Bonnie Doon, Alexandra, Seymour, Yea, Euroa, Broadford, Thornton & Mansfield. Bonnie Doon joined the 2nds competition in 1953.
1955 - W&NEFL Seconds best and Fairest winner: Phil Arbuthnot.
1956 - Waranga & North East FL - Reserves Premiers: Bonnie Doon. This was the first of 12 consecutive grand finals for the Bonnie Doon senior football team. W&NEFL Reserves Best & Fairest Award went to W J Lockhart.
1957 - Waranga & North East FL - Reserves Premiers: Bonnie Doon: 10.12 - 72 defeated Strathbogie: 4.8 - 32.
1958 - Waranga & North East FL - Reserves Premiers: Bonnie Doon
1959 - Waranga & North East FL Reserves Runners Up: Bonnie Doon
1960 - Waranga-North East League (2nds) teams - Bonnie Doon, Alexandra, Seymour, Yea, Euroa, Broadford, Avenel,Thornton, Strathbogie & Mansfield. William (Ned) Lockhart from Bonnie Doon received Best & Fairest Award for Waranga-North East Seconds
1961 - Waranga & North East FL - Reserves Premiers - Bonnie Doon: 9.11 - 65 d Seymour: 7.15 - 57. Bill Reardon wins his second consectutive W&NEFL Reserves best and fairest award.
1962 - Waranga & North East FL - Reserves Premiers - Bonnie Doon: 8.5 - 53 d Seymour: 7.2 - 44. Bill Reardon wins his third consectutive W&NEFL Reserves best and fairest award.
1963 - Waranga & North East FL - Reserves Runners Up - Euroa: 14.12 - 96 d Bonnie Doon: 5.7 - 37. Bill Reardon wins his fourth consectutive W&NEFL Reserves best and fairest award.
1964 - Waranga & North East FL - Reserves Runners Up - Euroa: 8.10 - 58 d Bonnie Doon: 4.3 - 27.
1965 - Bonnie Doon were voted out of the Waranga & North East FL in early 1965, then joined Benalla & District Football League and were runners up to Goorambat.
1966 - Grand Final - Bonnie Doon defeated All Blacks
1967 - Grand Final - All Blacks defeated Bonnie Doon

1993 - Saw introduction of Netball to Benalla & District Football League with the assistance of Lesley Howes & Kerry Taranto - only one side with 20 girls keen to play. Bonnie Doon lost to Devenish in the Semi Final. Debbie Browne runner Up Best & Fairest for the League
1994 - Bonnie Doon lost to Tatong in Preliminary Final
1995 - League introduced another Grade to Netball (B Grade)
1999 - B Reserve Team introduced - B Reserve lost to Tatong in the Preliminary Final - Jayme Hamilton League Best & Fairest with Peta Martin League Runner Up.
A Grade lost to Tatong in the Preliminary Final - Iris Hill Runner Up League Best & Fairest.
B Grade played in a thrilling Grand Final against Swanpool won 39 to 38 goals in the last minute of the game. Team - Laura Walsh (captain), Leonie Hill (vice captain), Sharon Lockhart, Danni Hutchins, Emma Lockhart, Breanna Cameron, Loise Clarke, Mary Ann Panozzo, Lesley Howes & Cathy Cooper - Coach Iris Hill. 2000 - League changed B Reserve to C Grade. Leonie Hill played 100 games for Bonnie Doon plus first to achieve for Benalla & District League with another player from Tatong
2003 - Leonie Hill presented with Life Membership for Bonnie Doon Football Netball - the first netballer to achieve this honour!
