SAINTS ACADEMY - NEW!
The Koroit Football Netball Club have launched a Saints Football Academy targeting 14 to 18 year old footballers.

The aim of the Saints Football Academy will be to focus on improving a young footballer’s skills, game sense and off field preparation around nutrition, recovery and cross training programs. Sessions will be held in Warrnambool at Warrnambool College.
The Koroit Football Netball Club is very excited to announce that the forthcoming Saints Academy will have two AFL representatives in Bernie Vince (Melbourne Football Club) and Marty Gleeson (Essendon Football Club) as its ambassadors. Both Marty and Bernie will provide current AFL training techniques into the program being offered along with attendance at specific sessions.
This Academy is being prepared and led by Adam Dowie, a seven time premiership coach who has also coached at TAC Cup level with the Gippsland Power. Assisting Adam will be highly experienced and respected current and former coaches including Brian Brown, Nick O’Sullivan and recently appointed Senior Coach of the Koroit Football Netball Club, Chris McLaren. Current premiership players of the Club will also assist in the running of the program.
This year’s Academy will provide participants the opportunity to gain valuable tuition in all facets of football including;
• Kicking Analysis
• Conditioning
• Nutrition
• Cross Training
• Recovery Techniques
• Game Sense Drills

ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training)
Koroit Football Netball Club is pleased to announce we have three club representatives who have obtained accreditation in Youth Mental Health First Aid Courses.
These courses have provided our representatives with the skills to provide initial help to any person suffering from depressive, anxiety, mental health issues, substance abuse and other associated crises and to meet the individuals safety needs.
This is a resource not only for our club but also for our community. As a club we are passionate about providing support and guidance to our players, their families and our members and supporters.
Our club representatives are available to be contacted directly if anyone needs assistance or has concerns about a family member/friend or team mate's welfare.
