1969: Club formed after amalgamation of the Werribee VFA and Werribee Open Age was disbanded. The VFA retained the Junior division and the Seniors setout on their own in the Western Suburbs League.
1976: First Premiership for Football Club winning Reserves Grade. Cricket Club formed to enable club to run for 12 months of the year. Club extends clubrooms at Soldiers Reserve.
1978: Club changes its colours to Bottle Green & Gold from the traditional Black & Gold.
1981-1983: Senior Football side wins Premiership for 3 years running. Reserves are runnersup in 1982 & 1983.
Centrals finally obtain clearance from the WSFL to compete in the Geelong & District Football League.
1984: Senior and Reserves Football sides win their Premierships.
1985: Club promoted to First Division of the GDFL. Club moves to Galvin Park Shaws Road Werribee on insistance of Council.
1987: Senior and Reserves Football win Premiership in First Division of GDFL. Initial stage of new facilities at Galvin Park completed.
1989: Senior Football win Premiership.
1991: Extensions to facilities at Galvin Park completed at cost of $34,000-.
1992: Cricket wins first A Turf Flag.
1994: Clubs new Social rooms extended at a cost of $65,000-. Special thanks to then West Riding Councillor Shane Bourke for his assistance. Facilities opened by Mayor Shane Flynn.
1997: Council request that Ladies Cricket Club be relocated to Galvin Park and can Centrals accomodate. Club agrees to extend facilities to provide for the new club and for Umpires in the new football season. Club fund at cost of $50,000- without council assistance.
Both senior and reserve football sides defeated in Grand Final.
1998: Senior Cricket side wins second A Turf Flag. Ladies Cricket Club amalgamate with Werribee Centrals. Senior Football side defeated again in Grand Final. Reserves though are Premiers and Champions.
1999: Senior Football side finally wins Premiership under the guidance of new coach Andrew (Ghost) Howlett. Reserves finish undefeated but lose both finals games.
2000: Senior Football side wins back to back Premiership. A great achievement. Andrew Howlett voted VCFL coach of the year.
2001: Senior Football side wins Third Premiership in a row. Andrew Howlett retires on a high. Reserves are runnersup.
2002: Commencement/Formation of new Netball Division of the club. Commence with three sides in competition in Geelong. B & C Grades win Premierships in their inaugural year.
2003: New two storey scoreboard completed. A,B & C Grade Netball make finals. B & C Grade win Back to Back Premierships. Reserves Football also make finals.
Discussions commence with St Andrews Auskick to commence a new Junior Division of the Club in the Western Region Football League.
2004: Junior Football Division takes the field with U 12s & U 14's. Both teams make finals with U 14's after being elevated two divisions during the year win the premiership A great effort.
A & B Grade Netball and Senior & Reserve Football make Grand Finals. Seniors after drawing first Grand Final run out easy winners in replay. Another Premiership for the club and Werribee.
2005: Junior Football now have full range of sides over age groups 10-16. All senior sides make the finals for both football and netball. A & B Grade Netball are Premiers. A great result for A Grade their first.
The clubs new training lights erected and functional for 2005.
2006: All senior sides Netball & Football make Finals. U 16 & U 14 Junior Football also make finals. A Grade, C Grade & U 17 Netball together with Reserves and U 16 Football win their respective Premierships. Yes five for the year.
2007: U18 Football finally win a Premiership. A & B Grade win Premierships. Three years in a row for A Grade.
2008: Culmination of a lot of hard work when the club completes the renovations to the club facilities which include, two new changerooms, netball facilities and new Kitchen and storeroom areas. New lights on Oval No 1 completed and training lights erected on Oval No 2. Another U 18 Premiership when they go back to back.
2009: New Netball Couts commence. A Turf Cricket win VTCA North Section Grand Final and are promoted to 1st Division. A real achievement.
2010: Netball Courts completed at Galvin Park. Girls can now call it home. Senior & Reserves Footy finish season on top. Reserves win Premiership. C Grade and Under 17 Netballers also win their Premierships.
2014: New electronic scoreboard constructed which will enable the club to promote its sponsors and display all scores instantly. Big investment by the club.
2015: Galvin Park facilities improved with new changerooms for netball completed on Northern end of buildings.
2017: Junior section commence with first all Female footy sides with one Junior and one Senior. A Grade Netball win their 5th Premiership in a row.
2019: Junior section grows to 15 sides with three Junior female footy sides and one senior side. The club continues to grow with over 800 Players registered for Season 2019. Club completes refurbishment of the kitchen & bar and adds new coolrooms to the buildings.
2020/21: Seasons interrupted by COVID with no play in 2020 and season 2021 ceased in June. Oval No 1 redeveloped which now sees the club with 3 new Ovals with two under full flood lighting.
2022: Final Plans are approved by council and the club to complete a two story addition to the clubrooms at a cost of $4.8M.
As can be seen the club has been very successful and are extremely sports oriented and have been only to pleased to help other sports in our community for over 50 years.
