Ellinbank played a totally defensive game, crowding Drouin's forward line and making it difficult for the Jets to score freely. The Drouin side persevered picking up a couple of goals before half-time. The ball didn't venture down to the Ellinbank's forward much which hindered their ability to score, giving the game to the Jets.
