Home club organised rooms for both teams but not a referee room so I had to get changed and organised and leave my gear out in public.
Several Old Melburnians SC players felt that they were justified in constantly making accusations that the refereeing was favoring Glen Eira. This led to several players continuing this after the game leading to one player receiving a Red Card. Those few players who were in this group would not shake the ref's hand at the end of the game and showed very poor sportsmanship. This was added to with some players on the bench also constantly yelling at the ref. It is important to note that this was only some of the players and the rest actually apologised for, and were embarrassed by, some of the teams behavior.
When the ref asked for the match fee the person responsible said they didn't have it and asked to transfer it to me. 10 minutes later another player from the team gave the ref the match fee.
No one from the Home team came to sign the match records.
