Official Match Report

At the conclusion of the game Melton Assistant coach approached me as I left the field and questioned a decision to allow a player back on the pitch after treatment for an injury caused when he was fouled from behind by aMelton player. He made disparaging comment about my knowledge of the game and stated that I would never referee in Melton again. I continued walking and ignored his comments.
He accompanied the coach , who came to sign the team sheets, into the change room and restated his comments before being told to ‘leave it’ by other coaches.
