Overcast conditions gave the Bulls the opportunity to start strong, booting a goal in the first quarter and playing well up front. Longwarry managed to control the game after quarter time, but were challenged by a fierce Poowong-Loch side. Longwarry took the lead in the final term and managed to secure the game by three points.
