Early game played with great enthusiasm from both teams. South Barwon / Amateurs started the game well, creating opportunities early with confident defensive work good run and delivery to their forwards.
Belmont Lions/Newcomb came out after halve time with a toughened approach to winning the ball, and with some good quality deliver to their forwards, slowly built a winning lead whilst restricting their opposition to just one goal in the second half.
