60 th min Geelong assistant coach Romeo Purlija was heard by the referee use the words your a fucking cheat towards my assistant. close enough for the referee to hear it all. consequently i produced a Red card and asked the assistant coach to leave the technical area and stand away from the bench area.
As a referee the game had had an extreme amount of time wasting which could have potentially had at least 9 yellow cards to the Geelong Team. now i made a judgment of Error which i have learnt from i added an additional 2 mins of extra time. i am well aware of the mistake that i had made as there is no added time for Junior fixtures.The reason in bring this up is that a Geelong Person who was in charge of the Camera set up on the side of the field who i later found out to be a board director ( from their Coach) also suggested that i was a Cheat. i have no allegiances to any football club. i would not and have not ever cheated on the sporting field either as a former player or an offical. in will not stand for these type of allegations been thrown around at a Junior NPL match.
