Number 10 for South Melbourne was very aggressive, repeated fouls almost warranted a yellow card.
More importantly, the coach for South Melbourne was rude, aggressive and disrespectful. On 3 occasions I had to pause the restart of play to order him to return to the technical area. He shouted at me throughout the match, criticising my decisions. He approached me after the game to speak to me about a few decisions, all of which I justified competently, including the penalty in which the goalkeeper took out the attacker's legs without touching the ball whatsoever. I've been informed by parents of this Oakleigh Cannons team that this is not the first time the South Melbourne coach has behaved in such a manner, nor is it the first time he has disrespected a match official. It would be advisable if he could be reminded of the expected code of behaviour.
