St Kevins opening quarter reflected exactly as the coach instructed with Sarah Cameron kicking all 4 unanswered goals for the quarter in perfect conditions. The second term started with another quick goal to Sarah but through the dominant ruck work of Taylor Padfield, Marcellin matched the Saints so the margin remained at 27 points at the main break. The third quarter was an arm wrestle with the high marking of the Marcellin girls and their press kept the ball in their forward fifty for the first 10 minutes but without converting. Their effort could not be maintained against the stout in and under work of Ellie McLinden, Eliza Straford and Rachel Gillett to drive the ball into the Saint's forward half to pepper the goal posts for the terms only goal to Catherine McBeth Jephcott. The final stanza was all St Kevins with Kat Viti coming to life with 2 majors, Georgia Cropley playing a great game with another and Georgie Lupson kicking her second for the game. Chiara Moretta played a solid game for Marcellin kicking both their goals in the second quarter.
