The Shortland United Junior Football Club Incorporated will hold its

 

Annual General Meeting

 

on Wednesday 22nd January 2025 at 6:00pm

 

in the upper Restaurant at Shortland Hotel, 269 Sandgate Road, Shortland

 

This is where we choose who runs the club for 2025 and who does what job. We invite all members and interested persons to attend as desired.

Some Snacks and Drinks will be provided.

 

** Should you wish to nominate yourself for a position or propose any General Business, please email shortlandufc@newcastlefootball.net.au prior to Monday 20th January 2025. Any position with more than one nomination will be voted on at the AGM. Please also forward any General Business prior to the cut off date **

PLEASE NOTE SEVERAL POSITIONS MAY BE AVAILABLE AND WE WELCOME NEW & CURRENT PARENTS AND PLAYERS TO COME AND LEND A HAND FOR WHAT IS GENERALLY ONLY 7 WEEKENDS AT OUR HOME GROUND, AND 7 WEEKS AT AWAY GROUNDS, EACH YEAR!
 

The agenda of the Annual General Meeting will be:

• Welcome by Chairperson/President.

• Apologies.

• Confirm the minutes of the last AGM and of the last general meeting held.

• Business arising from the minutes.

• Chairperson's report.

• a summary of the year's activities.

• a record of the year's achievements.

• a preview of what is planned for the next year.

• a restatement of the organisation's vision.

• Treasurer's report and presentation of audited financial statement.

• Election of Office Bearers where more than one nomination.

• Declaration of elected and previously nominated Position Holders.

• General business where previously nominated.

• Date of next meeting.
