With preparation well and truly underway for season 2020, we would like to announce The Bulls Junior Football Club Committee for next season following our Annual General Meeting in mid-October.

PINK Sports Day

We're pinking up for our annual PINK Sports Day game between Bunyip Junior Football Club and The Bulls.

Our BULLS will be playing in PINK jumpers to support the Breast Cancer Network Australia, who support Australians affected by breast cancer. We invite you to join in the fun by turning pink over the weekend as a show of support for people in your community affected by breast cancer.

Back the BULLS Campaign

Be part of the legendary BULLS in season 2020!

The Bulls Junior Football Club are holding a Registration and 20 minute training session at the Loch Memorial Reserve. Date will be posted on our Facebook Page.

New and current players (and parents) are welcome for the training session that will start off the new season for the mighty BULLS!

Established in 2015, our BULLS play in the Warragul & District Junior Football League on Saturday mornings, with teams in the Under 10, Under 12 and Under 14 age groups.

The season commeces mid April followed by a 15 round season plus finals. Training with the BULLS commences in March

REGISTRATION is now open for season 2020.

WDJFL - Under 10 - Modified Rules

Below are a list of the WDJFL Under 10 Modified Rules to complement the traditional playing rules

Tackling/Defensive skills

Players can

Hold an opponent with their hands or by encircling the player with their arms
Bump the player in the side only
Knock the ball out of the opponents hands
Steal the ball out of the opponent’s hands
Push the player in the side
Players cannot - sling a player to the ground with undue force

Bouncing the ball

Players in possession may only bounce the ball twice

Kicking of the ground

A player is not permitted to deliberately kick the ball of the ground
A free kick shall be awarded to the nearest opposition player

Out of Bounds

When the ball goes out of bounds from a kick, a free kick shall be awarded to the nearest opposition player of the umpire’s choice. If any doubt as to which team kicked the ball out of bounds, or as a result of being forced, smothered, spoiled or knocked then the umpire shall call a ball up five metres inside the boundary line
