I would like to welcome everyone, players old and new, parents and families to Glengarry Junior Football Club for Season 2015. I trust that everyone will enjoy themselves both on and off the field, whatever the result at the end of the day.
I hope that all of you find the “Players Manual” helpful as a reference document. I would ask you all to familiarise yourselves with the Code of Conduct for players, parents and spectators. We are here to have fun and encourage development of player skills. We do not wish to hear abuse and unsportsmanlike comments. The Club has previously won the “Code of Conduct” award from the League and it would be nice to repeat that this year.
We have worked hard as a Club to develop the facilities around the Recreation Reserve with the support of the Recreation Reserve Committee and the Senior Football Club. Please respect these facilities and feel free to pass on suggestions for further improvements to the committee.
We have a dedicated and hardworking volunteer committee to make things happen both on and off the field. If you are interested in helping within the club please get in touch with any committee member. We always need volunteers to help in the canteen which provides a source of funds for the Club at the end of the year. We also need help on match days with tidying up / votes for “Best and Fairest” and general help.
There are a number of social activities organised for the year and again I would urge you to get involved to support your child, but also the Club, as we develop further.

Finally, a word of thanks to everyone who has supported us this year through sponsorship and after game awards. Without their generous support it would be difficult to run the Club. Please make yourself aware of them and support them as they are supporting us.
