In 2002, the Lexton Plains Football League introduced the Ray Fisher Shield for the most successful club in the League.
Points are calculated from each of the clubs football and netball team's final position on the ladder, at the end of the home and away season. The points are then accumulated together to get the total amount, which then sees the club with the highest amount of points, receive the honor of being the Lexton Plains Football League's most successful club for the year.
The success of the Carngham Linton Football Netball Club is evident of this prestigious award, as the club has been the recipient, 7 times out of the 8 years, it has been in circulation. The only year the club was unsuccessful, was 2007, where we were relegated to 2nd place.
