Eight Countries shared medals in Tennis at these South Pacific Mini Games.

New Caledonia were too strong overall with 5 Gold medals, however 8 out of 10 competing nations were able to win medals at these Games, once again rewarding the efforts of the ITF to develop tennis throughout the Pacific.more

June Baudinet was in tears when her son Brett won the Mens Singles Gold Medal today beating number one seed, West Nott of the Marshall Islands.

Stephanie Wins Gold

Number two seed Stephanie Dilluccio from New Caledonia overcame number one seed Samoan, Maylani Ah Hoy 6-4, 6-0 to take Gold.

Rain Delays Play

Torrential Rain in Palau has delayed play in the Men's Team finals and the women's singles and Doubles Competition.

As a result, the Men's Team event has yet to be decided and the Men's Singles draw will then be seededmore

Second Technical Meeting

Another technical meeting will be held tonight at the Airi courts to determine the individual draw.

Team managers have submitted their line ups and the technical meeting will determine the seedings of the singles, doubles and mixed doubles draw.more

Women's Team Tennis Medals Decided

The Results followed the seedings with New Caledonia winning 2-1. The deciding doubles match was rain interuptted as has been the whole tournament.

The men should finish tonight - weather permitting.more

Technical Meeting decides Team Seeds

New Caledonia have been selected as top seeds in both the mens and womens teams competitions that will run from Monday to Wednesday this week.

The difficulty of the wet weather and multiple locations was discussed at this meeting.more
