FNQ Heat have dealt a decisive blow in the battle for supremacy in Queensland's north, battering Northern Fury 6-0 at Endeavour Park on Saturday night.
Joshua Pin was Heat's chief destroyer, tearing into the Fury defence and creating three goals before heading in one of his own late in the contest.
Heat shared the goals around on the way to their biggest win of 2017, with five individual goal scorers all getting in on the action.
Heat will attempt to maintain their top four charge away at Brisbane Strikers in two weeks' time, while Fury will host Brisbane City as they search for their first win in six games.
