LACHLAN KEEVERS APPOINTED TO NYL GRAND FINAL

The Illawarra is on the verge on producing another FIFA referee after the exploits of Strebre Delovski with former Illawarra referee Lachlan Keevers appointed to referee the Foxtel National Youth League Grand Final.

The Foxtel National Youth League 2016 Grand Final between Adelaide United and Sydney FC will be played as a double header with the Hyundai A-League encounter between Central Coast Mariners and Western Sydney Wanderers FC on Saturday 23 January 2016 at Central Coast Stadium.

Lachlan spent 10 years as a referee in Illawarra with 3 full seasons as a First Grade Premier League referee. He moved to Melbourne to study Aviation Management and has continued his career in the Victorian National Premier League.

Lachlan made his NPL1 Victorian First Grade referee debut (Hume FC v South Melbourne) and was a goal line referee on the FFA Cup Quarter Final between Melbourne Victory and Adelaide United. Lachlan also refereed at the Pacific School games where he refereed the final (NSW v Victoria).

Lachlan's long term goal is to get on the A-League panel and follow in Strebre's footsteps.
